Ming and Los Angeles guilloché master Josh Shapiro have launched the 37.06 Lightning, a 38mm steel watch whose Grade 2 titanium dial is rose-engine-turned with a brand-new lightning-bolt pattern, then heat-coloured by hand with a butane torch into a unique orange-to-blue gradient. Roughly one in three dials survives the process. CHF 6,250, first orders open 5 June 2026 at 13:00 GMT, then around ten pieces per month.
Zenith inaugurates its new Double Signed Program by pairing the legendary observatory Calibre 135 with Tokyo independent Naoya Hida & Co. The result is a 39.15 mm platinum chronometer with a hand-engraved solid-silver dial filled with blue urushi lacquer — limited to just 10 pieces at CHF 58,900.

Ressence has extended its integrated-bracelet Type 7 GMT with an optional fitted rubber strap on a titanium pass-through pin buckle, offered alongside the existing titanium bracelet for the Black and Cactus dial colourways. The watch itself is unchanged — 41 mm Grade 5 titanium case, the brand's signature convex oil-filled dial driving the ROCS 7 module with GMT — but the new strap option materially changes the wearing case for a model that until now has shipped only on bracelet. Horologically Unique's Calatrava-96-inspired HU-01 line bows out in a vintage-correct 34 mm case with lab-grown diamond hour markers — a silver-dial classic limited to 80 pieces and a Burma-jade "Yu" edition limited to 30, both still running the historic Peseux 7001 hand-wound calibre. Naoya Hida & Co. has opened applications today (18 May 2026, 10 am JST) for its 2026 annual collection: seven new references — including the brand's first-ever chronograph, the NH Type 7A powered by a restored vintage Valjoux Calibre 23 column-wheel movement, and the NH Type 8A, a 31 mm dress piece on a brand-new in-house Calibre 2326SS. Urwerk closes its UR-10 Spacemeter programme with a final 25-piece run in blue, capping total production at just 75 pieces. Stéphane von Gunten's Haute-Rive introduces the Honoris Strato Verde and Strato Blu — the first stainless-steel cases ever offered for the 1,000-hour power reserve, flying-tourbillon Honoris. With a 42.5 mm × 11.95 mm steel case, in-house Calibre HR01, single barrel containing a three-metre mainspring, and a production cap of about 10 watches per year across the entire Honoris collection, these CHF 128,000 references make Haute-Rive's record-breaking architecture meaningfully more wearable.
To mark the 200th birthday of founder Moritz Grossmann (born 27 March 1826), the Glashütte manufacture introduces a pair of Tefnut references with dials silver-plated by friction — a hand-applied 19th-century technique — in white gold and (for the very first time on the Tefnut) yellow gold. The 39 mm × 8.5 mm anniversary editions use green for the Arabic numerals, the tracks, and the historical 1875 "M. Grossmann" logo. At Watches & Wonders 2026, Parmigiani Fleurier introduces a world première in its family of invisible complications: the Tonda PF Chronographe Mystérieux. At rest, the watch reads as a classic three-hand-plus-small-seconds time-only with five perfectly superimposed hands. A single press of the pusher reveals two rose gold chronograph hands that emerge from beneath their rhodium counterparts; a second press stops them; a third returns the dial to invisibility. A 40mm steel case with a platinum-950 knurled bezel (225 flutes), hand-guilloché Mineral Blue grain d'Orge dial, and a newly developed integrated automatic Calibre PF053 with 362 components and a 22ct rose gold rotor.
