H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Centre Seconds "Sun Berry": A Limoncello-and-Berry Summer Concept Dial

For summer 2026, H. Moser pours a cocktail of berry-purple and limoncello-yellow onto its Pioneer Centre Seconds. The Concept dial drops all numerals and branding, leaving a sunburst gradient, leaf-shaped hands, and the in-house automatic calibre HMC 201.

Description

H. Moser & Cie. has a habit of making a summer statement, and for 2026 that statement is loud and joyful: the Pioneer Centre Seconds "Sun Berry," announced 17 June 2026. The name says it all — a heady mix of berry-purple liqueur and limoncello yellow, served on Moser's sporty-elegant Pioneer case.

As a Moser Concept watch, minimalism is pushed to its limit: there are no numerals, no indices and no branding on the dial. What remains is the colour, the sunburst finish, and three central hands. It is a watch designed to be enjoyed for its sheer chromatic confidence rather than read like a tool.

Design

The Sun Berry dial pairs a rich berry-purple background with a sunburst pattern and sunshine-yellow accents around the periphery, the same yellow echoed in the leaf-shaped hour and minute hands and in yellow Super-LumiNova. With no printing or applied markers to interrupt it, the gradient does all the talking. The 40 mm steel Pioneer case keeps its familiar smooth bezel and flowing lugs, and the watch is finished with a yellow rubber strap and a steel pin buckle that doubles down on the summery theme.

What's Exciting

Moser's Concept watches are where the brand lets its dial artistry run free, and Sun Berry is one of the most extroverted yet. The combination of a fumé-style berry gradient with bright-yellow accents and matching lume is unusual, daring, and unmistakably Moser — a brand that has built its modern identity on dials that look like nothing else. Underneath the playfulness sits a serious in-house automatic, the HMC 201, with a genuinely useful 72-hour power reserve. It is a reminder that Moser can be both whimsical and seriously made.

History

H. Moser & Cie. traces its roots to 1828 and was relaunched in the modern era as an independent known for fumé dials, minimalist "Concept" pieces with no logo, and a willingness to provoke. The Pioneer line is its more rugged, water-resistant everyday collection, and over recent seasons it has become Moser's canvas for bold seasonal colourways — the Sunny-Side Up and Citrus Green among them. Sun Berry continues that tradition for 2026, leaning harder than ever into pure colour.
