Hamilton is back in the Call of Duty universe. The Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm x Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, ref. H69469930, is the watch Captain Price wears in the new game, and it exists on real wrists too. It takes Hamilton's hand-wound Khaki Field Mechanical, one of the best-value field watches on the market, and gives it a sandblasted black PVD case, a heavily grained black dial and a khaki textile strap. The price is US$795 (EUR 750, CHF 675), and it is a regular-production model, not a limited edition.
It follows last year's Khaki Field Auto 38mm made for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and it continues Hamilton's growing gaming portfolio alongside its long film résumé. The watch underneath is the key point: this is still the thin, 80-hour, hand-wound Khaki Field, just dressed for a covert mission.
Design
The 38 mm steel case is only 9.5 mm thick, 47 mm lug to lug with a 20 mm lug width, and is fully coated in sandblasted black PVD for a matte, non-reflective finish. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating sits on top, and water resistance is 50 metres. On the back, the black PVD solid caseback is engraved with Modern Warfare's soundwave graphic alongside Hamilton and MW4 branding.
The black dial has a heavy grain texture and keeps the Khaki Field vocabulary: Arabic numerals, a railroad minute track and Grade X2 Super-LumiNova on the numerals, markers and hands. The game references are deliberately quiet. The numeral at 4 o'clock is rendered in the style of the Modern Warfare 4 logo, and yellow accents taken from the game's visual code appear at 12 o'clock and on the seconds hand. A khaki green textile strap with a black PVD pin buckle finishes the military look.

What's Exciting
Licensing tie-ins usually add a logo and a premium. This one mostly doesn't. The standard Khaki Field Mechanical 38 is already a benchmark at its price, a slim, hand-wound field watch with 80 hours of reserve and a Nivachron hairspring, and the Modern Warfare version keeps all of that. The black PVD case and grained dial make it the stealthiest Khaki Field yet, and the game references are subtle enough that nobody outside the Call of Duty community will spot them.
It also shows how seriously Hamilton now takes gaming. Having a watch on the wrist of Captain Price, one of the franchise's most famous characters, puts the Khaki Field in front of an audience that may never read a watch magazine. At under US$800 with a mechanical movement and sapphire crystal, it is a better first mechanical watch than most things a gamer might otherwise buy.
History
Hamilton was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1892 and supplied large numbers of watches to the US armed forces during the Second World War. The Khaki Field line descends from those military field watches. Hamilton says this model also draws on the General Service watches supplied to the British military, a fitting reference for Captain Price, the British SAS veteran who leads Task Force 141 in the games.
The brand has appeared in more than 500 films and TV productions and has carried that approach into interactive storytelling. It has worked with Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Requiem, and began its Call of Duty partnership in 2025 with the Khaki Field Auto 38mm for Black Ops 7. The Modern Warfare 4 watch is the second chapter, and the first on the hand-wound Khaki Field Mechanical.
